Jonathan Bosley is a second generation arborist, horticulturalist, and plant enthusiast. He trained and worked alongside his father, master arborist, Robert Bosley, before founding Bosley Tree and Shrub Care in 2014.

Robert owned and operated Greencare Tree Service, a full service tree care company that was based in Massachusetts. Jonathan was mentored and trained by Robert over a period of ten years, learning how to prune ornamental plants in accordance with the ANSI standards, as well as how to properly tend to gardens, operate heavy machinery, and employ proper safety practices when working.

From 2006-2008, Jonathan elected to further his education, attending North Shore Community College, where he graduated with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, with a focus on horticulture,

Upon graduating, Jonathan continued working for Greencare, assuming the lead role in large projects, while also gaining experience running crews and delegating tasks,

In late 2013, Robert retired from working in the field, transitioning into sales and performing site evaluations. Jonathan started Bosley Tree and Shrub Care, a tree care company specializing in ornamental pruning and organic plant healthcare, soon thereafter.

Over the ensuing years, Bosley Tree and Shrub Care has established a robust clientele, nurturing thousands of plants, while adapting to new industry methods and techniques,
